GIBSON CITY - Peter J. Hartford, 85, of Gibson City passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Gibson Area Hospital Annex.The Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Rosenbaum Funeral Home in Gibson City, followed by visitation until 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Gibson City. Burial will follow in Drummer Township Cemetery in Gibson City.Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or the Gibson Area Hospital Foundation.Peter was born on May 22, 1939, in Bloomington, a son of James and Leone Knapp Hartford. He married Joyce Robb on Aug. 17, 1968. She preceded him in death on March 3, 2001.Pete is survived by his brother, Thomas Hartford of Gibson City, and his sister, Suzanne (Robert) Martensen of Bayles Lake, Loda.
