LODA - Patricia "Pat" Louise Hamby, 85, of Huntersville, N.C., formerly of Bayles Lake, Loda, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center, Huntersville.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, at First Lutheran Church, Paxton, with the Rev. Debra Domeier officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Loda. Visitation will be one hour before the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton, is handling arrangements.Pat was born Sept. 6, 1938, in St. Paul, Minn., the daughter of Charles B. and Margaret A. Wendt McLain. She married Warren R. Hamby on Nov. 4, 1961, in Colorado Springs, Colo. He survives.Along with her husband, Warren, she is survived by a son, William (Jenny) Hamby of Plainfield; two daughters, Annette (Glen) Morrow of Huntersville and Michelle (Ken) Hogan of Grafton, Wis.; nine grandchildren, Gillian (Michael) Jonathas, Kyle (Beatriz) Morrow, Hannah (Collin) Stephens, Lindsy
