Malinda Faye Lutz April 24, 1942 - June 6, 2024 GIBSON CITY - Malinda Faye (Wiles) Lutz, 82, of Gibson City, IL, went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2024. Born in Paxton, IL, on April 24, 1942, to William Durward and Rena Ellen (Knight) Wiles, she graduated from Gibson City High School in Gibson City, IL, in 1960, and from Indiana Central College, Indianapolis in 1964. She married Rev. Philip William Lutz on July 4, 1965. He preceded her in death in October, 2020. She is survived by son Tom Lutz, of Crawfordsville, IN; and daughters: Ellen Lutz of Greenfield, MA, and Daniela Weiss of Oberostendorf, Germany. Malinda shared her talents through a variety of volunteer activities: participating in music ministries and Bible studies at the churches Phil served, chaperoning her kids' school field trips, and bringing joy to residents in nursing homes and state hospitals.
