RANTOUL - Ronald Kent Stonestreet, 79, of Rantoul passed away at 8:20 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Dayton, Ohio.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 24, at American Lutheran Church, 500 Church Drive, Rantoul, with the Rev. James T. Lehmann officiating. Burial will follow in Eden Park Cemetery, Rantoul, with military honors. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral service from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at American Lutheran Church, Rantoul.  Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton, is handling arrangements.Ron was born Dec.12, 1944, in Urbana, the son of Kent and Louise Sjoken Stonestreet. He is survived by two sisters, Jeanne (Les) Johnson of Thomasboro and Lynn Stonestreet of Bloomington; one niece, Rebecca Kinsey; four nephews, Joshua Williams, Michael Johnson, Eric Johnson and Ryan Johnson; and several great-nieces and -nephews.Ron was preceded in death by his parents.Ron graduated from Rantoul Township High School in 1962.
