PAXTON - Rosemary "Rosie" Harper, 83, of Paxton passed away at 9:18 p.m. Thursday (June 20, 2024) at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center, Urbana.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells St., Paxton, with the Rev. Pat Allin officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery, Paxton. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral service Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.Rosie was born April 21, 1941, in Tuscola, the daughter of Arthur T. and Nellie B. Brackney Harper.She is survived by a sister, Delores J. Coulter of Paxton; four nieces and nephews, Debbie Sexton, Dan (Jane) Coulter, Terri Richards and Larry Harper; and numerous great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and sister-in-law, Art Jr. and Derys Harper; a brother-in-law, Melvin Coulter; and one nephew, David Coulter.Rosie graduated from Buckley High School.
