PAXTON - Arthur Stanley Lawson, 91, of Paxton passed away at 1:02 p.m. Friday (May 3, 2024) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at Glen Cemetery, Paxton, with Pastor Marcus McCollom officiating. Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton, is handling the arrangements.Stan was born on Oct. 19, 1932, in Paxton, the son of Perry and Ethel Carlson Lawson. He married Teresa Vest on Aug. 15, 1953, in Paxton. She preceded him in death March 19, 1975.He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Teresa; and a brother, Dwayne Lawson.Stan is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Dave) Ashby of Paxton; and four granddaughters, Casey (Romel) Hendershott of Las Vegas and their children Charlotte and Rebel, Chelsea (Skyler) Weber of Clarksville, Tenn., and children Mason, Lauryl and Wren, Heather Kahl of Columbus City, Iowa, and children Annabelle, Braedyn and Caden and Elizabeth (Toby) Lamb of Letts, Iowa, and children Elivia and Teagen.Stan graduat
